Reading The Bible Is Like Flossing Your Teeth Daily

If its not done you can’t get the bad, hidden, slowly destroying junk out of your teeth or mind.

Dentist recommend that flossing is crucial for healthy teeth, gums, and breath.  If you do not-eventually,bacteria will slowly grow and DESTROY your teeth, gums, and breath. It can even travel down to your heart!

Some may say that they brush their teeth daily, even several times through the day.  That is very good, but the Dentist will still reiterate that nothing can take the place of daily flossing.

Some people may feel that isn't it sufficient enough that we go to church every Sunday, assist with mid-week Bible study, watch/listen to Pastors on TV/Internet and attend various church conventions.  It’s a blessing to do all of these things.  However, only spending time studying and  reading your Bible daily will annihilate the hidden bacteria in our minds, body and souls.
You can’t just floss one tooth or the side of your mouth you mostly chew on; you have got to floss all of your teeth to get effective results.  Many Christians just like to read their favorite Bible versus, instead of  going through the whole Bible.  We can't pick and choose what we think is best from God's word.

There are many countries all over the world where  people do not know about importance of flossing-much less can afford to go to a Dentist.  There are global dental organizations and charities that spread this message through partnerships and dental care programs.  And we have many Christian organizations that spread the message of the Gospel through international partnerships and evangelism.

Many of us are born again, but our souls, which is made up of our mind, will and emotions can not change if we do not commit PERSONAL time studying Gods word.  Our souls do not transform instantly, it’s a process that takes place over time as our minds are strengthened from the word of God.

We can never attain and enjoy on this earth all the benefits of the blessings that BELONG to us as believers if we do not allow the word to seep through the cracks of our souls.  We can have heaven on earth!

“So GET RID of all uncleanness and the rampant outgrowth of wickedness, and in a humble (gentle, modest) spirit receive and welcome the Word which implanted and rooted [in your hearts] contains the power to save your souls”(James 1.21, Amplified Bible).

Flossing your teeth is an act that needs motivation.  It can be so boring and monotonous.  But your teeth do feel better after it’s done.  Your dental visits are short and sweet;
and most importantly your teeth remain strong and healthy.

Nobody Can Do For God What You Can Do And Nobody Can Do It Like You Do It For God

People need what God has given us, and we must get it to them-NOW!

God Needs you to be his tangible touch-Be Love, Give Love, Show Love
God Needs you to Dream again so he can do superabundantly, far over, above and infinitely beyond (Eph 3:20)

God Needs you to be Well in your body and mind

God Needs you to be Spiritually strong in him

God Needs you to be Saved

God Needs you to be Financially Prosperous so that you can be evidence of his inexhaustible, incalculable Riches(Eph3:8)Wealth which no human being could have searched out. And to fund the propagation of the Gospel.

God Needs you to Demonstrate his signs and wonders with your Faith

God Needs you to Walk Masterfully in the Spirit like Jesus did.

God Needs you to Spread the Good News

God Needs you to be Proof of his Faithfulness

God Needs you to Witness to others through your talents, expertise, skills, gifts, craftsmanship, and professions

Hairdressers Let Your Hands Spread The Word Of God One Head At A Time

Do you know you can save a life with just one word? “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel(good news)of Christ, for it is God’s Power working unto salvation(for deliverance from eternal death) to everyone who believes with a personal trust….”Rom 1:16 NIV.

You don’t have to be a fulltime pastor, preacher to dispense the word of God. Sometimes the Gospel is spread in silence, by listening or through body language. If you are employed in a salon where the owner and your fellow co-stylists are not Christians-this is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your walk with Christ daily.

1Thes 4:18(NIV) tells us to “Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.”Doing Hair allows us to do “Good Works” and “Sow Seeds” into peoples lives through their hair. We have the opportunity to smile, show the love of Christ, motivate, inspire, share testimonies, and cancel any negative thought that raises it head against the word of God.

The word of God means nothing to people without demonstration or manifestation of its power. It’s not by what you say that makes people want to follow Jesus Christ, it is by your actions. “For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power(moral power and excellence of soul).) 1st Corin 4:20.-NIV

Once we become saved, we can increase our faith and illustrate our love for God by following the steps of Jesus Christ. Sharing the Gospel is simple, it can start with daily devotional books-they have corresponding bible verses. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you or use you to demonstrate that word.

Remember your hands are the greatest weapon from Gods creative intelligence. Keep your Bible close, the Spirit wields it into a sword.(Eph 6:17-NIV)

The True Calling of Believers Can Not Be Boxed In

The calling for a believer of God is different for everyone. The blessings and suffering that believers endure or receive vary as well. But all should never be ashamed of the calling. The calling of believers is to magnify God at all times.

This is not done by our strength, or by acting holy- but by making time daily to read at least one verse in the Bible. And then asking God to magnify and manifest his power through our situations and weaknesses daily. Jesus did it consistently.

The calling of a believer can not be boxed in because it is a call into the supernatural realm of the possibilities of God. Faith can’t be contained, power can’t be packed, and the love of God can not be put in a sachet. The call of the believer is to destroy the chains of life situations- and to exude God’s supernatural breakthroughs and freedom-by FAITH.

Some people are ashamed to tell the world that God has blessed them or ashamed to publicly call upon God in the midst of strife or stress. I heard a Christian pastor say that Christian faith and Christian practice must befriend each other. Well that is what I believe the true calling of God entails. Openly practicing the faith of God to lead others to a relationship with our loving heavenly creator.

At times our faith can become weak, but according to Romans 16:25(Amplified Bible) “Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of concerning Jesus Christ the messiah…” No need to worry God will strength your faith to stand on his word and promises.

Lawyers practice law and Medical Doctors practice medicine- why, because it is an ongoing journey in which they get better and stronger in training. When an Attorney or Doctor needs assistance with a challenging case, they seek wisdom and guidance from more experienced colleagues.

Jesus of Nazareth obeyed the call of God. He was anointed “…..with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10-38. KJV). Jesus accepted all the responsibities and consequences that follow the calling of God-and he was never ashamed of his assignment for God.

Apostles Peter and Paul remind us of this fact as believers in God. Peter states “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” (1st Peter 4-16. KJV). Paul states “ But in all things approving ourselves a s the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,….in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labour, in watching, in fastings, .. by pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, … by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,…by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; …as unknown, and yet well known; as dying and, behold, we live as chastened, and not killed;…as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.” (2nd Corinthians 6:4-10. KJV)

Many followers of the Gospels given to Jesus Christ, give themselves Christian titles, or congregate to specific religious sects that feel comfortable- or that securely box them into a category for societal satisfaction. However once an individual begins to establish a strong relationship with God, those titles and religus categories don’t seem to matter anymore. Our heavenly creator’s thoughts and ways can not be contained-so once we begin to grow in God, our actions as believers can no longer be boxed in either.

Finally, extended-unbreakable love is the chief foundation of the true calling of the believer of God. Proper means and motive is needed for consistency and continuance. Love is the law in the kingdom of God.
