SIGNS AND WONDERS ARE NOT FOR CHRISTIANS....

Jesus Christ and his disciples went about performing signs and wonders among non-believers of God.

Believers walk by faith, believers walk in the word of God.  Their faith is manifesting Gods word in their lives daily.  By faith believers are healed, protected, supernaturally strengthened and supplied with every need and desire.  They don’t need proof, or signs and wonders to believe in God’s power.  They already got it by faith!

How Islam Led Me to Christ Not Church or Christian Denominations

"I Would Not Be a Minister and Financier of the Gospel today if it had not been For Islam."

Christians be weary of judging Muslims or people of different religions. There are many roads that lead to Christ. A Virtuous woman of God who is a believer and follower of Jesus Christ said she would not be a minister and financier of the Gospel today if it had not been for Islam.

“My father came from a family that had a generational foundation in idol worshiping.  They went to church but, continued to mix it with family traditions of homage to idols.  My mother was a devout Muslim who made us pray 5 times a day.  Although she knew she had to follow the head of her household, she was determined to give us a good spiritual foundation in God.”

As a Muslim one is supposed to believe in and have all of Gods holy books.  So that meant we had a Bible, Torah and Quran.  “My mother believed in reading and knowing what Gods instruction says for you.   She didn’t just want us to wait until Juma service every Friday to open the Quran and read what God says.  We had to learn about Abraham, Moses, Daniel, David and many of the great men/women of God.”

In reading the Quran we learned of those that follow Jesus Christ.  Muslims who consistently read their Quran will know that there are and will be followers of Jesus Christ.

(Surah 3:55-A. Yussuf Ali translation) says “Behold! God said: ‘O Jesus! I will take thee and raise thee to myself and clear thee (of the falsehoods) of those who blaspheme; I will make those who follow thee superior to those who reject faith,”

Another translation (Surah 57:27-King Fahd Cmplx translation) says “Then, we went after them our messengers, and we sent ‘Isa (Jesus)-son of Maryam (Mary), and gave him the Injeel (Gospel).  And we ordained in the hearts of those who followed him compassion and mercy……..”

“It was the early morning prayers between 5-6am that we despised the most.  I didn’t understand the importance of seeking God’s face early in the morning.  Jesus did it often.   The irony is that now I can’t start my day with out hearing from and sharing with God at 5am.”

Religion can become so routine, conventional, ceremonial, habitual, ritual or even traditional.  I have seen it in Christianity and Islam.  If most people read the word of God daily they would know that when God anointed Jesus and sent him to us-it was not to create another religion, but to give us ABUNDANT LIFE.

Evangelism should always be the focus-Jesus went to the world. Christians who actively read the Bible can gain more understanding of what Paul expressed.    They would be able to decipher between Muslims who truly know the word and the opinions of uniformed Muslims.  Christians would also have some insight into the disparity between Arab culture and the actual practice of Islam.

In a letter that Paul wrote to the church in Corinth, he discussed a wide variety of subjects-especially party strife within the church. Out side of the church he states that his actions are focused on the gain of more for Christ. 1Corinthians 9:19-23; is a great display of the mind set that we should have towards those outside of the church.

In 1Corinth 9:19-23(Amplified)Paul states that “ For although I am free in every way from anyone’s control, I have made myself a bond servant to everyone, so that I might gain the more [for Christ]…..To the Jews, I became a Jew…….To those without(outside)law…..To the weak……And I do this for the sake of the good news(the Gospel)in order that I may become a participator in it and share in its [blessings along with you].”

“Even though, my family has had many spiritual attacks since I chose to give my life to Jesus Christ to the glory of God, I am able to share with my mom about the love of God through the Gospel-beyond denominational Christianity.”

“The unconditional love of Christ enables me to share Gods Biblical financial principles of prosperity-some even exist in the Quran.  I show my mother the joy and victory in kingdom living-God gave us the   keys!  The Quran even tells Muslims that God has keys to his kingdom and his righteous will inherit the earth.”

Islam means the submission to the Will of God.  This implies faith, doing right, being an example to others to do right and having the power to see that the right prevails, eschewing wrong, being an example to others to eschew wrong, and having power to see that wrong and injustice are defeated.

“The Gospel enabled me to know what it means to be believer who walks by faith.  If it had not been for the grace of God on my mothers life to be persistent in prayers and reading of the Quran; I wonder where we would be.”

I hope this will be a blessing to many people all over the world-Thank you.

Even Atheist’s Have Faith

Which faith stands up under test-that of the atheist or that of the religious believer?

Atheist have faith enough in their principles to desire to shut down religious beliefs-therefore enabling an end to suicide bombers, religious wars and televangelists.

According to Nobel Laureate Steven Weinberg “the world needs to wake up form it’s  long nightmare of religious belief.” “ Anything we scientist can do to weaken the hold of religion should be done and may in the end be our greatest contribution to civilization.”

According to Atheist Sam Harris, “People must be unafraid to speak frankly about the ‘mountains of life destroying gibberish’ found in the Bible and the Koran.

All the same can we really blame them for the beliefs?  Religion has destroyed a lot of Christian lives due to hypocrisy.  Jesus Christ was of no religion.  Psalm 14:1(NIV) says “ The [empty-headed] fool has said in his heart.  There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable deeds; there is none that does good or right.

Both the religious and irreligious have and still commit atrocities.  However  the real question that should be asked is whether the actions of these groups is out of their religious or non religious beliefs-or really out of these people’s  hearts.

Jesus tells us in Matthew 15:18-19 “ But whatever comes out of the mouth comes from the heart, and this is what makes a man unclean and defiles [him]. For out of the heart come evil thoughts (reasoning’s and disputing and designs)…..”  But God will judge- Acts 17:31(NIV) “Because he has fixed a day when he will judge the world righteously (justly)…….”

Many Christians and atheist’s believe that  “traditional” Christianity that people are practicing has little in common with the Bible.  Some even expound further that the problem with religion is that it divides people rather than uniting them.

In conclusion to this ongoing difference of opinion, the question of the existence of a ‘True Religion” needs an answer.  Could there really be a group of people on earth who rightfully represent God?  Well the only way is to do as the Bible tells us 1st John 4:1(NIV) “ BELOVED, DO not put faith in every spirit but prove (test) the spirit to discover whether they proceed from God; for many false prophets have gone forth into the world.”

STANDING To Recieve The SUPERNATURAL

If you are not seeing what you are praying for, maybe you just don't believe every single word.

To see the impossible, we must release the supernatural and it's in the word of God.
"Standing"

[Verse 1:]
Can you hear the voice of the Father
Inviting you to walk the water?
Risk it all, answer the call, and enter in.
Now we stand on every promise
We're not afraid, our faith goes before us
When we believe, we're gonna see
The supernatural
[Chorus:]
We're gonna see what we're praying for
We believe every single word
Stronger than we've ever been,
Standing on his promises,
We're gonna see the impossible
We release the supernatural
Stronger than we've ever been,
We are standing on his promises
[Verse 2:]
We will face the darkness around us
As we break the chains that have bound us
Oh, yes, it's true, we can do the impossible
So we stand with keys of the kingdom
To declare the day of our freedom
When we believe, we're gonna see
The supernatural.
[Chorus]
[Bridge:]
We are stand--ing... stand---ing...
Standing on the promise of Christ our Savior...
We are stand--ing... stand---ing...
Standing on the promise of Christ our Savior...
[Chorus]
[Ending:]
Stronger than we've ever been,
We are standing on his promises
[2x]

Playing the Lottery vs Paying Tithes and Offerings

Many Christians may not admit it verbally, but their actions reveal that investing in the lottery will provide a better ROI than paying tithes and offerings.

Some Christians invest in the lottery daily; they study the lottery system faithfully using the lottery study guide books.  They have more faith in a system that they can see, rather than on God’s system that they can’t see.

There has been research done to show that most lottery winners go broke and for some, their lives end up worse than it was before they won.  The most astonishing aspect is that some winners do not even pay tithes or offering on their winnings.  They thank God, Jesus and all the angels in heaven-yet 10% of the winnings are a bit too much to offer.

If they spent the same amount of time studying the bible and investing daily in the propagation of the Gospel, their return on investment would not only be greater-but it would cover every aspect of their lives.   They would truly know what it means when God says he will bless you to be a blessing.  It’s a promise to every believer.

I Don’t Feel Like Reading My Bible Today!

Because Christians will have days like this we must read our Bibles daily so that there will be enough of the word of God already stored within us to counteract these emotions.

Many Christians who read their Bibles daily have felt like this or even feel like this right now. We get so overwhelmed with situations that have surrounded our lives that our numb feelings begin to flaw our faith. Even Jesus had distressful circumstances at times. (Luke 22:44-Amplified) “ And being in an agony [of mind],…” Angels were sent to strengthen him in stressful situations. (Luke 22:43-Amplified) “ And there appeared to him an angel from heaven, strengthening him in spirit.

From time to time we are incapable of gathering up the strength to read the word of God, whether we are angry at God, ourselves or our situations. Nevertheless if you have the word of God stored within you can battle every thought that does not align with God’s plan to give you the expected end you desire.

Walking by faith ain’t always easy. We sometimes have stronger faith for certain things and less faith for others. Which doesn’t make sense-but that’s why human beings have to renew their minds with the word daily. There will be days like this in your Christian journey.
Worship and praise songs heal the soul and help connect the spirit man with the holy spirit of God. Television or radio ministries also help to charge our faith as well.

If you are reading this article and don’t feel like reading your Bible today-its okay. Just praise God, thank God for sending Jesus Christ for your life. Use the prayer of Reinhold Niebuhr “ God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference.”

God said that he will never fail you four times in Hebrews 13:5(Amplified) “…….; for He [God] Himself has said, I will not in any way fail you nor give you up nor leave you without support. [I will] not, [I will ] not, [I will] not in any degree leave you helpless nor forsake nor let [you] down (relax my hold on you)! [Assuredly not!].”

Please be assured today that without a doubt- you have been called to virtue, predestined to live the good life . You are a wonderful creation of God and no matter what your present situation will enrich, empower, and encourage others to emulate your example when you demonstrate your sincere dependency on God.

Don’t let the tradition of your feelings flaw your faith and make the work of God void in your present circumstances( Mark 7:13-Amplified). Ask God to strengthen your faith as he said he can do in Romans 16:25(Amplified) “ Now to him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of (concerning)Jesus Christ (the Messiah),…”

God will give you a ray of hope to get through the days you don’t feel like reading your Bible-so you can wait on his plan for you to manifest. Then you will be strengthened in faith to read your Bible the next day.

On these days, take the word you know and make it yours. Give it back to God as David did in 2nd Samuel 7:25-29(Amplified) “ Now, O Lord God, confirm forever the word You have given as to Your servant and his house; and do as You have said,…………..for You, O Lord God, have spoken it,…….”

Tell God that just as you need assistance in your present situation, that enable you will be of assistance to someone else with their circumstances-while you wait for someone to help you. The American Pastor Mike Murdoch has a book of 7 spiritual principles for success of which one of them states that “ Because I help make things happen for others-God makes things happen for me.”

Also go to a near by church-not necessarily your place of worship and volunteer for that day. This will take your mind off your own issue, which will ultimately remind you of how big and great your God is.

Don’t Be A Victim Of Spiritual Identity Theft

Identity Theft is an issue that doesn’t just happen in the secular world, but very much so in the spiritual.  It seems quite questionable that the worldly idea of an individuals identity being stolen can happen without out a  tangible theft of ones property as in a drivers license or an identification card.
Well the American Pastor Dr. Leroy Thompson, (Ever Increasing Word Ministries) preached on the issue of spiritual identity theft among Christians on their television broadcast on 11/29/10.  Once a Christian becomes saved or born again, they have received a new identity-they belong to CHRIST. “For [as far as this world is concerned] you have died, and your [new real] life is hidden with Christ in God. (Cols 3:3-Amplified).

Many more scriptures in the Bible substantiate this fact.  For instance,  Ephesians 2:10(Amplified) says that ‘For we are God’s [own] handiwork (his workmanship), recreated in Christ Jesus, [born anew] that we may do those good works which God predestined….”   According to Mark 9:41(Amplified)-” For I tell you truly, whoever gives you a cup of water to drink because you belong to and bear the name of Christ will by no means fail to get his reward.”

So as a result of this this new identity in Christ, if  a Christian experiences poverty, sickness, lack of faith, evil attacks,  deficiencies in business or family fertility- their identity in Christ  has been stolen.. In fact the Bible requests that Christians should test and prove by ever-increasing experiences that Jesus Christ is in them, unless they are counterfeits.(  2nd Corinthians 13:5).

If a Christian is  the victim of  evil attacks-their identity in Christ has been stolen because according to the Bible the Lord  will fight for his believers- greater is the power of God that is in every Christian than the powers of the world.  Deut 28:7 says that the Lord will cause enemies that rise up against Christians to be defeated before their faces-those enemies will come against them one way and flee from before them seven ways.  Isaiah 54:14 -17 tells every Christian that they shall be far from even the thought of oppression or destruction, that whoever stirs up strife against them shall fall and surrender to them, and lastly any weapon formed against them shall not prosper.

If a Christian is experiencing sickness-their identity in Christ has been stolen because according  James 5:15(Amplified) “ And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven.  Deut 7:15, says  that the Lord will take away from you all the sickness.  Exodus 23:25 says “ You shall serve the Lord your God; He shall bless your bread and water, and I will take sickness from your midst.”

If a Christian is experiencing lack of faith-their identity in Christ has been stolen because according to the Bible is it impossible for any Christian to please God without faith.  Hosea 14:4(Amplified) God says “ I will heal their faithlessness; I will love them freely,…..” As a result Romans 16:25 (Amplified) says -”Now to him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of (concerning) Jesus Christ (the Messiah)…”  There are also angels available to strengthen Christians.  In Luke 22:43 an angel from heaven strengthened  Jesus in spirit. Even in the Holy Quran (Translation by A. Yusuf Ali)Surah 2:253,Surah 5:113;  states that  Jesus was strengthened with the holy spirit.
If a Christian is experiencing poverty-their identity in Christ has been stolen because according to the Bible, God takes pleasure in the prosperity of his servants and his desire is to give them the  kingdom.  Psalms 33:10, says that those who seek the lord on the authority of his word-none of them shall lack any beneficial thing.    But most importantly, a Christian that is obedient to God’s word concerning tithes, offering and sowing experiences the reward of God  opening up the windows of heaven with overflow of blessings and they also  receive 30, 60, or 100 fold harvest from their seeds sown.

Poverty is not the portion of  a Christian unless they are encountering  identity theft.

If a Christian is experiencing deficiencies in business-their identity in Christ has been stolen because according to the book of Joshua 1:8, if  Christians  meditate, observe and do according to the word of  God then they shall make their way prosperous and shall deal wisely and have good success.  This is also emphasized throughout Deuteronomy 28 :1-13.  Christians that diligently heed to the voice of God and his commandments are blessed in their movements, their storehouses are blessed, their land is blessed, all the work of their hands is blessed, they even have a surplus of prosperity through their stock.

If a Christian is experiencing fruitless family fertility-their identity in Christ has been stolen because according to Genesis 17:6(amplified) “I will make you exceedingly fruitful and I will make nations of you and kings will come from you.”  Genesis 22:17(Amplified) says “In blessing I will bless you and in multiplying I will multiply your descendants like the stars of the heavens and like the sand on the seashore. And your  Seed(Heir) will possess the gate of his enemies.”

In conclusion, this is not a  far-fetched belief for those that have surrendered all that they have and are to God.  For the Bible tells us so!

Hairdressers Let Your Hands Spread The Word Of God One Head At A Time

Do you know you can save a life with just one word? “For I am not ashamed of the Gospel(good news)of Christ, for it is God’s Power working unto salvation(for deliverance from eternal death) to everyone who believes with a personal trust….”Rom 1:16 NIV.

You don’t have to be a fulltime pastor, preacher to dispense the word of God. Sometimes the Gospel is spread in silence, by listening or through body language. If you are employed in a salon where the owner and your fellow co-stylists are not Christians-this is the perfect opportunity to demonstrate your walk with Christ daily.

1Thes 4:18(NIV) tells us to “Therefore comfort and encourage one another with these words.”Doing Hair allows us to do “Good Works” and “Sow Seeds” into peoples lives through their hair. We have the opportunity to smile, show the love of Christ, motivate, inspire, share testimonies, and cancel any negative thought that raises it head against the word of God.

The word of God means nothing to people without demonstration or manifestation of its power. It’s not by what you say that makes people want to follow Jesus Christ, it is by your actions. “For the kingdom of God consists of and is based on not talk but power(moral power and excellence of soul).) 1st Corin 4:20.-NIV

Once we become saved, we can increase our faith and illustrate our love for God by following the steps of Jesus Christ. Sharing the Gospel is simple, it can start with daily devotional books-they have corresponding bible verses. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to guide you or use you to demonstrate that word.

Remember your hands are the greatest weapon from Gods creative intelligence. Keep your Bible close, the Spirit wields it into a sword.(Eph 6:17-NIV)

The True Calling of Believers Can Not Be Boxed In

The calling for a believer of God is different for everyone. The blessings and suffering that believers endure or receive vary as well. But all should never be ashamed of the calling. The calling of believers is to magnify God at all times.

This is not done by our strength, or by acting holy- but by making time daily to read at least one verse in the Bible. And then asking God to magnify and manifest his power through our situations and weaknesses daily. Jesus did it consistently.

The calling of a believer can not be boxed in because it is a call into the supernatural realm of the possibilities of God. Faith can’t be contained, power can’t be packed, and the love of God can not be put in a sachet. The call of the believer is to destroy the chains of life situations- and to exude God’s supernatural breakthroughs and freedom-by FAITH.

Some people are ashamed to tell the world that God has blessed them or ashamed to publicly call upon God in the midst of strife or stress. I heard a Christian pastor say that Christian faith and Christian practice must befriend each other. Well that is what I believe the true calling of God entails. Openly practicing the faith of God to lead others to a relationship with our loving heavenly creator.

At times our faith can become weak, but according to Romans 16:25(Amplified Bible) “Now to Him Who is able to strengthen you in the faith which is in accordance with my Gospel and the preaching of concerning Jesus Christ the messiah…” No need to worry God will strength your faith to stand on his word and promises.

Lawyers practice law and Medical Doctors practice medicine- why, because it is an ongoing journey in which they get better and stronger in training. When an Attorney or Doctor needs assistance with a challenging case, they seek wisdom and guidance from more experienced colleagues.

Jesus of Nazareth obeyed the call of God. He was anointed “…..with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.” (Acts 10-38. KJV). Jesus accepted all the responsibities and consequences that follow the calling of God-and he was never ashamed of his assignment for God.

Apostles Peter and Paul remind us of this fact as believers in God. Peter states “Yet if any man suffer as a Christian let him not be ashamed; but let him glorify God on this behalf.” (1st Peter 4-16. KJV). Paul states “ But in all things approving ourselves a s the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,….in stripes, in imprisonments, in tumults, in labour, in watching, in fastings, .. by pureness, by knowledge, by long suffering, by kindness, by the Holy Ghost, by love unfeigned, … by the word of truth, by the power of God, by the armor of righteousness on the right hand and on the left,…by honor and dishonor, by evil report and good report: as deceivers, and yet true; …as unknown, and yet well known; as dying and, behold, we live as chastened, and not killed;…as sorrowful, yet always rejoicing, as poor, yet making many rich; as having nothing, and yet possessing all things.” (2nd Corinthians 6:4-10. KJV)

Many followers of the Gospels given to Jesus Christ, give themselves Christian titles, or congregate to specific religious sects that feel comfortable- or that securely box them into a category for societal satisfaction. However once an individual begins to establish a strong relationship with God, those titles and religus categories don’t seem to matter anymore. Our heavenly creator’s thoughts and ways can not be contained-so once we begin to grow in God, our actions as believers can no longer be boxed in either.

Finally, extended-unbreakable love is the chief foundation of the true calling of the believer of God. Proper means and motive is needed for consistency and continuance. Love is the law in the kingdom of God.
